LYNX'S DRONE PILOT OPERATOR COURSE
Lynx Security Group is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a Drone Pilot Operator Course in Baltimore, Maryland, from 03-04 June 2023. This Program of Instruction has been specifically designed for individuals seeking training to sit for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Small UAS Rule (Part 107) exam to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate. Graduates who take the FAA exam will be able to fly drones commercially from .5 to 55 pounds. This training program also provides the graduate with skills in using drones for surveillance and reconnaissance and will benefit those in private investigation, executive protection, law enforcement, and related fields. Training and certification will also benefit realtors, photographers, or anyone wanting to fly a drone for profit. The main instructor is a senior member of the FAA and a licensed private detective in Maryland.
This class is an in-person course, has a minimum of 10 students, and is limited to 20 students.
The practical exercises will occur in a classroom environment and in the field throughout the area. The class starts at 8 AM each day with a break for lunch. The lunch period and the end time will vary based on the training day.
